MyMathLab having a moment :(
Used an X instead of a X. Classic mistake.
@FingerBangBang, they typed in "x" instead of using the "x 10^n" button
@FingerBangBang, actually looks like they used spaces...
@mpfnascimento19, look at the X's more closely you can see a difference
@mpfnascimento19, then you die *stabs*
@Killing instincts , no. Don't tell me how to live my life
Screw you MyMathLab. No one likes you.
@Admiral Adama, I could have sworn that was Brainhub or whatever it was called in my school. Regardless. Fvck you math.
@Admiral Adama, that's what you wanted? I'm sorry but you're currently enrolled on MyMethLab.
@Admiral Adama, WebAssign is worse
@Admiral Adama, as an actual mathematician, I whole heartedly agree.
@Euler, and Hawkes Learning Systems. They are just as bad.
@Admiral Adama, or webassign, or cengage, or masteringphysics...
@ JCLEMZ, Brain Honey is what I was thinking of btw. I think I got the hub from PornHub or something.
@Admiral Adama, as someone who is terrible at math and written equations I loved math lab. That's how I got through my college algebra class
They used an x. In basically all applications the x is used as a variable and an * is used to input multiplication.
@Jake the Doge, I can imagine they did this on purpose, I'm sure this isn't there only problem with an answer like that.
@Captain Magma, to be honest, I had no idea originally why it wouldn't accept it. It took me 2 more wrong answers for me to finally try something different. I'm new to college and this online homework.
Arguing with my girlfriend....
MY PIC OH MY!!!!!! THIS IS THE PROUDEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!!!
@About 37 Geckos, congrats *throws confetti and not confetti*
So glad I'm done with math I hated using MyMathLab!!
@Colleen4, I've had to use MyProgrammingLab for three classes so far, I feel your pain.
It's leviosa, not leviosa
He used a bolded X for his answer. I guess you could say that was a *puts on shades* bold mistake
@Jordude, *Patricks voice, BOO!!!
@Jordude, he used an x instead of multiplication sign....that's the bolder part
He probably changed the HTML code for his own viewing just saying
God damnit mathxl! Not everything has to be perfect!
I had this problem with maple, my answer was infinity, and the correct answer was infinity. No idea what I did wrong
This actually happened to my friend earlier today
I hate MathXL
Nice use of the developer tools
